CJ Garia
Hi, I’m CJ, and I serve as the Youth Director here at One City Church. I’ve been part of this amazing community for a year or so, and my role involves providing leadership, guidance, and knowledge for the youth program here at One City Church.
On a personal note, I am currently a student at Regent University as a business major. I’ve been involved in church ministry since I was 10 and I am so excited to continue working in this community.
One of my favorite parts of being at One City Church is that it is like one BIG family.
You’re surrounded by a community you can lean on for support and feel a sense of belonging.
When I’m not leading at One City Church you might find me spending time with friends or exploring different food spots in our area. I also enjoy the outdoors being in the sun, more specifically the beach.
A Bible verse that inspires me in both my personal and professional life is Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” This reminds me that his ways are better than mine and that I can trust him to guide me and straighten my path.
Looking ahead, I’m excited about the continued growth and development of our attendees and leaders at One City. I am excited to see what God has in store for our community as we continue to Transform the 757!!
